Telephones and Telescopes was originally created by Bannister Chaava from his "Space Junkie" collection. In this adaptation for piano its harmonies have be slightly modified but it still retains its rhythmic structure.
lyrics
Never dreamt you'd be here,
These lonely stars are drowning in tears,
This year, I'll love you,
Displace things above you,
I will, I'll fall completely.
Telephones and telescopes will guide you home, when all you have is love,
But I want to be with you, tonight.
Never thought we'd end here,
And all those years were wasted in tears,
This year I'll love you,
Displace these fears and trust you,
I will, this year I'll need you.
Telephones and telescopes will guide you home, when all you have is love,
But I want to be with you, tonight.
